We are now looking for a dedicated Tenures/Tenements Advisor/Permit Administrator to support our growth and help us achieve our ambitious goals.
About the Role
In this unique role, you will participate in the delivery of quality tenure management services to ensure Beach tenure is retained and compliant with legislation.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with Government agencies, including coordinating and attending meetings with regulators to support clear communication, smooth application processes, and ongoing tenure compliance.
- Supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of petroleum and gas titles across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely tracking of obligations, expiry dates, renewals and regulatory milestones.
- Preparing high-quality regulatory submissions (applications, renewals, variations, dealings) and developing confidence in interpreting Acts, Regulations and Guidelines.
- Monitoring changes to legislation and regulatory frameworks to proactively identify impacts on Beach’s licence portfolio, escalating risks and recommending actions where required.
- Working collaboratively the Tenures team to refine internal systems, templates and processes that improve standardisation, auditability and compliance across the tenure function.
- Engaging with internal stakeholders (Legal, Commercial, Development, Environment, Finance) to ensure consistent information flow and alignment on commitments, approvals and title management activities.

As a Tenures Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management and administration of tenures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, in conjunction with our operational teams.
- Knowledge of, or a strong interest in learning the various tenures approvals and compliance regimes in the resource industry.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work under limited supervision and meet deadlines at short notice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proven ability to build and foster positive relationships and networks.
- Confident and persistent approach to stakeholder engagement, ensuring timely clarification, information flow and approvals.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- Attention to detail and dedication to work through issues to develop practical and appropriate solutions.
- Excellent organisational and planning aptitude.
