Beach Energy Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Contracts & Procurement Team Lead to join our Corporate Services team. This is your chance to make a significant impact on our business and drive excellence in procurement and supply chain solutions.

About the Role

As the Contracts & Procurement Team Lead, you will be the single point of engagement for your assigned portfolio, ensuring focused and strategic engagement with Contracts & Procurement. You will establish direction for your team, translating business requirements into meaningful execution workplans. Your role will involve developing and deploying contracting strategies that drive cost efficiency, transparency, and predictable outcomes for Beach Energy. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement and sustainable change, embedding methodology, digitisation, and supporting frameworks to deliver business transformation and improvements. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• The end-to-end procurement and contracting strategy for critical onshore portfolios.
• High-value negotiations and supplier partnerships that drive transparency, certainty, and cost advantage.
• A team of professionals delivering best-in-class project, contract, and material management outcomes.
• A cultural shift toward continuous improvement, digital enablement, and procurement innovation.
• Strategic collaboration across corporate, technical, and operational functions.
• Mentoring and developing your team, fostering knowledge in contracts and procurement, responsible sourcing, process and governance, project management, and continuous improvement.

About You

You are a seasoned professional with extensive experience in contracts and procurement, preferably within the Oil and Gas industry. Your strong commercial awareness, financial astuteness, and excellent negotiation skills make you an asset to any team. You have proven leadership skills and the ability to influence and drive high-performance outcomes. Your experience in managing process and functional improvement projects, along with your business/management or engineering/technical tertiary qualifications sets you apart.
