About the Role

As a Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist, you will be the strategic point of engagement for stakeholders, enabling focused collaboration with the Procurement & Supply Chain department. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the delivery of strategic corporate and technology business outcomes and partnerships in a timely and cost-efficient manner across a portfolio more than $100m per annum. You will work closely with various departments and external partners to develop and implement tactical and strategic sourcing and contracting strategies for complex procurement activities.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a strategic point of contact for your area of responsibility, supporting project assurance and gate approvals.
• Identifying and documenting business requirements, develop sourcing strategies, manage complex sourcing activities, and lead supplier negotiations.
• Ensuring high-quality contract management, coordinate contract kick-off meetings, and manage contract performance throughout the lifecycle.
• Coaching and mentoring team members, identify resourcing requirements, and support delivery of sourcing and contracting activities.
• Ensuring procurement and contracting activities adhere to company policies and procedures, and support functional projects related to process and governance.

About You

You will need:

• Extensive procurement and contracting experience, preferably within the Oil and Gas industry or related industries.
• Experience in managing and executing complex, strategic procurement and contracting activities within Corporate and IT functions, with specific experience on cyber specific contractual terms.
• Experience in managing small teams will be highly regarded.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to challenge peers and management to deliver procurement and contracting value.
• Relevant undergraduate degree (e.g., Business, Commerce, Management, or Engineering) and membership in the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (or equivalent).
