About the Role

The Senior Contracts & Procurement Specialist provides a strategic point of engagement for relevant stakeholders to enable focused engagement with the Contracts & Procurement department to support the delivery of business outcomes in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing a contracting and procurement strategy to support your designated area
• Supporting project assurance and gate approvals related to Contracting and Procurement.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop sourcing and contracting strategies.
• Managing complex sourcing activities, including tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Fostering supplier relationships to deliver value and explore long-term strategic opportunities.
• Ensuring contracts comply with relevant procedures, coordinate contract kick-off meetings, govern contract performance, manage contract variations, and support dispute resolution.

About You

You will need extensive, proven experience in contracting and procurement, preferably within the Oil and Gas industry or related fields.

You should be adept at executing the full lifecycle of procurement and contracting activities in a project environment, managing complex and strategic procurement tasks, and supervising and mentoring team members.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

You should possess a relevant undergraduate degree and be a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (or equivalent). Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of contracts, commercial components, and the ability to draft complex amendments.
