Beach Energy is seeking a proactive, people‑focused People & Culture Advisor to support employees, leaders, and People Business Partners across the full range of people services. This role sits at the heart of our People & Culture function, providing high‑quality advice, maintaining critical employee data, and supporting the smooth delivery of people processes that keep our business thriving.

 

As a member of the P&C team, you’ll play an important role in our Uniquely Beach employee experience, supporting operational excellence, and ensuring our systems and data remain accurate, compliant, and effective.

About the Role

 

Reporting to the GM People & Reward, the People & Culture Advisor is at the forefront of a People Services role providing timely, customer‑centred support across the employee lifecycle.

 

You’ll act as a trusted first point of contact for people queries, partner with P&C colleagues to deliver consistent, high‑quality people support, and be our HRIS system go-to specialist.

 

This a fantastic role to showcase your customer service skills in a role which provides a stepping stone to a business partner level. Additionally, you will be part of a close-knit team of HR professionals who you can learn from in this growth opportunity.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee and leader enquiries via the P&C inbox and other channels.
  • Provide accurate, timely advice aligned with Beach policies, awards, and legislation.
  • Support People Business Partners with operational and low‑risk employee relations matters, escalating where required.
  • Coordinate onboarding, employment changes, flexible work requests and offboarding processes.
  • Act as a SuccessFactors superuser, ensuring system integrity, security permissions, workflow accuracy and streamlined employee data processes, including accuracy of organisational structures and charts.
  • Contribute to internal and statutory reporting including WGEA, surveys, and people analytics.
  • Assist with performance cycle support, remuneration processes and people reporting.
  • Provide recruitment administration support during peak periods.

About You

 

We are looking for someone who can bring energy and a service‑oriented mindset, with the capability to navigate a dynamic business environment.


You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Experience providing HR or People and culture related advice to employees and leaders.
  • Experience using HRIS systems, ideally SuccessFactors.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • An ability to use judgement and discretion when managing sensitive information.
  • The capacity to prioritise, meet deadlines, and solve problems with initiative.
  • A willingness to learn new systems and adapt to evolving business needs.
