In this critical leadership role, you will lead Beach's enterprise-wide technology, cyber security, digital and data functions, shape and execute the technology strategy supporting corporate and operational environments and drive innovation, transformation and technology-enabled business outcomes across the organisation.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role provides enterprise leadership of Beach's technology, digital and information ecosystem.
Leading a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for information technology operations, cyber security, digital strategy, data and technology-enabled transformation across the business. You will ensure Beach's technology environment remains secure, reliable and scalable while partnering with leaders across corporate and operational functions to deliver strategic outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute Beach's technology, digital and data strategy aligned to business priorities and long-term objectives.Lead enterprise information technology operations, infrastructure, platforms and service delivery.
- Oversee cyber security strategy, governance, resilience and risk management across the organisation.
- Drive digital transformation, innovation and technology-enabled business improvement initiatives.
- Continually improve technology governance, architecture and data management frameworks.
- Manage strategic vendor relationships, technology contracts and commercial outcomes.
- Build and develop a high-performing technology function focused on collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage technology budgets, investment planning and resource allocation to maximise business value.
About You
You are a strategic and commercially minded technology leader with extensive experience leading enterprise technology functions in complex operating environments.
You will bring:
- Significant leadership experience across information technology, digital, cyber security and technology functions.
- Proven success developing and executing enterprise technology and digital strategies.
- Experience leading technology operations, infrastructure, business systems and service delivery functions.
- Demonstrated expertise in cyber security, technology risk management and governance.
- Experience delivering large-scale digital, technology and business transformation programs.
- Strong commercial acumen, including vendor management, contract negotiation and technology investment optimisation.
- The ability to influence and partner effectively with Executive and Board-level stakeholders.
- A track record of building and leading high-performing teams through change and growth.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
