Beach Energy is looking for a dynamic and motivated Environmental Advisor to join our team in Adelaide, SA. About the Role

As an Environmental Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting South Australian Production Operations by implementing systems and processes to meet Beach Energy’s corporate and regulatory environmental obligations. You will provide technical support, conduct environmental impact assessments, engage with regulators, and ensure compliance with relevant approvals and legislation. Your work will contribute to the continuous improvement of our production assets and help us achieve our sustainability targets.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting environmental impact assessments and provide technical support for production assets and capital projects.
• Engaging with regulators on environmental compliance matters, including incident response and compliance inspections.
• Preparing internal and external environmental reports to meet corporate and regulatory obligations.
• Developing environmental procedures, work instructions and delivering related training to increase awareness among field and office-based personnel.
• Assisting with environmental incident response, including investigation, reporting, and action close-out. 

About You

To be successful, you will need:

• Relevant environmental experience, preferably in the oil and gas resources sector.
• Proficiency in GIS platforms and MS Office.
• Strong ability to interpret and apply environmental legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline.
