Join our team as a Compliance, Assurance & Billing Advisor.

We are now looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Compliance, Assurance & Billing Advisor to join our Strategy & Commercial division in our head office in Adelaide. This is your chance to be part of a team that is at the forefront of innovation and excellence in the energy sector.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a crucial role in protecting and optimising our enterprise value. You will ensure compliance with market rules and regulations, perform and coordinate billing and payment processes, and provide assurance through accurate data collation, reporting, and analysis. You will also support the development and implementation of short-term market and trading agreements, and build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring compliance with market rules and regulations, including submissions to regulatory authorities.
• Performing and coordinating billing and payment processes for all product contracts.
• Providing assurance through accurate data collation, analysis, and reporting.
• Supporting the development and implementation of short-term market and trading agreements.
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

About You

You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional with proven experience in a compliance, billing, or assurance role, preferably within the energy or resources sector. You have a strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and billing processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Along with a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or other relevant discipline, you are also proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with data management tools.
